can unix program declare int?

can unix program declare int??how to declare ?
if i want to declare int and using read command then compare which int is small...how to do this??can somebody help me?

Can you do basic C programming? It does not matter what OS the C program runs under, you can always declare an int. And about the program, you will have to go through your course material or teacher's notes and write that. Or you can check one of the tutorials from this page. It is against the rules to ask homework questions.
