Parameter in UNIX restricting the number of lines that can be mailed

Is there any parameter in UNIX which restricts the number of lines that can be mailed from the server?
We are trying to mail a list file but if the lines in the spool file, increase beyond 2200, no mail is being sent.

That depends on your mail transfer agent, i.e. postfix or whatever, not UNIX. What is it?
