Beginning with the Solaris 8 OS, and subsequent OS releases, the devfsadm
command can be used instead of drvconfig. Drvconfig and other commands,
such as disks, ports are symbolic links to devfsadm.

Devfsadm loads every driver in the system and attaches to all possible
device instances. Devfsadm then creates the /devices directory and the
logical links in the /dev directory when the command is run alone and
without any options:

#devfsadm

To restrict the use of the devfsadm command to a specific device class, use
the -c option:

#devfsadm -c device_class
