LINUX Server Back Door

I am looking for any utility that i can install to a linux server in order to scan said server and find out if there are any backdoor entries to the server. meaning, look for any user ID's and Passwords set up on the unit. and if there are any specific ports being used to access the server other than the usual ones, such as SSH, etc...

try this or just google with check rookit keywords
Of course any unknown rootkit or 'backdoor' will not be spotted ... at least for a while Smilie
Try to use system integrity tool like tripwire and the like if u haven't done so ... just to rise the bar a bit Smilie

You're on Linux - look into snort as well. If there's an active problem it will find it.
