I think asking such open ended questions don't make much sense. It would be like me coming in here and asking how unix works. There are tons of books and webpage resources. People need to look at those resources before asking questions. If you have looked and studied and you're still having difficulties then by all means post your questions. Furthermore, just because someone doesn't answer the question doesn't mean they don't know. Being lazy is no excuse.

My feeling is that this thread is headed towards being "idle chatter that does not contribute to the knowledge base" (if it's not already there). I am also concerned that the thread is crossing the line with respect to:

(8) No BSD vs. Linux vs. Windows or similar threads.


So I will close the thread.
