FTP files between VPNs
Hi
I have a 60 MB file which I periodically need to move from 1 server to another, however both the machines are on different networks and require different VPN access. So right now, I ftp the file locally from one, then switch VPN and ftp it back up. The whole process is easy 1.5 hrs.
Is there a way I can can transfer files directly from 1 machine to the other.

If the same company 'owns' both networks, then get with the network folks to have the firewalls opened from server A to server B - and to possibly make it easier on getting that approved, use scp versus ftp. (Even if the networks aren't owned by the same company, you should be able to make a case for doing this with scp which is secure compared to ftp)

Need help creating a script to FTP files to a server and then delete the files that were transfered.

I am trying to FTP files to a Windows server through my Linux machine. I have setup the file transfer with no problems but am having problem deleting those files from the Linux box.
