Command work but not in SH script
Command works but not in SH


At terminal if i type:

scp test.tar.gz user1@server2:/home/user

Everything run smoothly (keyed, no password need)


At script , test.sh

#!/bin/sh
scp test.tar.gz user1@server2:/home/user


Nothing happen and clue ? ? ? ? ?

Are you getting any error messages? Is the key-based authentication using a pass-phrase? If it is, get rid of the passphrase.

Sorry for the confusion, it is a key base (ssh password - free)

the file sent via command in just a click.



But after I put the same line on the test.sh and run it, nothing happen.....

Try running the scp with the '-v' option. This is verbose mode and will give you output that you can use to see where exactly your command is getting stuck.
