Question tty remote IP

I am fairly new to Unix Terminal outputs and I have a server that is sending print jobs to a PortServer 8 RJ45 situated in a remote location. It is working fine however we need to change the Subnet of that location and I am unable to find where the IP associated with the terminal is located.

When sending a print job it sends it out to ttyf08 which then creates a connection to our Portserver (IP 192.168.2.2). I need to change this PortServer IP but I do not know where to find the information.

I am using Unix Open System 5

Thanks for your help.

Do you have more info on the type of Portserver ? Not enough info yet to determine which (if any) of these may be it. Documentation on each can be found there so some searching on your part will assist you.

TTY remote IP

Unfortunatelly it is on the Unix side. I am able to change it on the Digi Port side after doing some searching last week but I can not find the File or location on SCO Unix Ver 5.0 to change the tty ip.

Thanks for the Help. I found My answer. However I could not find it in the links you sent me.

It is part of DigiWARE for RealPort Driver 2.3.0 for Unix. I found that in order to change the IP of the RealPort you need to edit the file;
/etc/rc2.d/S86ncxa
which contains the IP adresses.

Thank-you all for your help
