UNIX for Dummies Questions & Answers

Hi there..

I know this is a kind low question, but do anyone know where I can find some hints and or clues for the "adventure" game on UNIX ?

( /usr/games/adventure ).

I already searched on this forum but didnt find the answer to my question.

Hints:

The bird is scared by the rod. You must drop the rod in order to get the bird. Otherwise, the bird will fly away.
If there is an exclamation point, then it is a treasure.
You will not be able to take the gold up the stairs in the dome. There is another way out of the cave, which you will see later.
I was lucky that the next time the dwarf appeared was in this room, so I could get the axe at that time and fight back. Otherwise, I would have likely been killed by the dwarf.
Note the "fee fie foe foo" inscription. It is a way to get the eggs back. This will be important when the eggs have to be used as payment later in the game.

Excellent, le me kill the dwarf.

i know this game is kinda stupid, but it is making me crazy, a really PITA.
