Sorry, didn't explain clearly.

We have two servers with two sets of Samba shares. When browsing from my W7 PC for some reason I could only see the Samba shares on one server (the other would say 'network path unavailable' or similar).

In the end I was able to connect to both by going to 'network' (which displays all the devices on our network) and double clicking on each of the Solaris servers.

I am not entirely sure why it wouldnt work by just browing to \\myserver, but I have a feeling it may be something to do with cached credentials caused by a mapped drive.

Ive been caught a few times because of cache issues either on the PC or somewhere in the AD (most times proxies that arent synchro...)
