Please, is it possible to come to internet (not e-mail, but ionternet!) without GUI?

About geting to INTERNET without GUI.

This depends heavily on what you want to do on (to) the internet. There's targets whose command line you can connect to interactively using telnet, ssh or the like, there's DNS servers that you use with nslookup, dig, or simply implicit name resolution, there's command line mail clients (mail, mailx) and web browsers (lynx, wget, w3m). All this is not exhaustive. Refer to the respective man page (see heading of these fora) for more info on each...

Have you tried links? I'm not sure if links2 (somewhat graphical) will run on unix (I'm using linux), but I'm impressed with it not needing a GUI. As a sidenote, the text works great, but the graphics only worked for me as superuser.
