What you can do is install your USB to serial adapter, USB driver for that, and your terminal emulation, then short pins 2 & 3 on the DB9 and bash a few keys; it should echo. Just a way to test your PC, USB adapter and terminal emulation before you connect to the V210.

You'll need to login to that first but then, if you cannot reach the power switch at the front (because it's under your table), you can ask the SC to power up the main processor by issuing the command:

Can I still access the Server with no OS?

Yep, you can connect a console (terminal) and test that it works. You can access the SC. It just won't boot past that.

You need to download Solaris 11 DVD.

Downloaded Solaris 11 DVD to my USB. Now I need to burn a copy to Disks.

You got the SPARC version, yes? Not the x86.

Solaris 11 is not working on older sparc systems... You should download Solaris 10 for your system.

Hicks, I got into the system. I downloaded Putty first. Than changed the Com Port to 5 which is what my computer assigned the Com Port in Hardware devices.

Not it wants a password. The Server pops up as SUNFIREV210. The installation guide, chapter 3 says The last eight digits of the S/N is the default password, It doesn't work.

Anyone have any ideas?
