Filter the diff-output through grep/awk/sed/... to weed out the changes you are not interested in. The ones left over by this process will be the ones you are indeed intereseted to know.

Another way is to "unchange" your changes:

%s/20140707/@@@@/g
%s/@@@@/20140707/g

and save this to a file, than do the diff. The file should be unchanged because you changed back all your changes (supposing the string "@@@@" hasn't been in the file before). The changes you could not track before should still be there, yes?
