Deleted files between date range
Dear Friends,

I have HP_ux 11.31 and want to delete some unwanted very old log files between two date range.

Please help in the matter.

Can you provide some sample data?

These files are located in /sapmnt/<SID>/global/<clint>JOBLG. Few samples are as under:
518 Apr 9 2012 0001X02003507X96730
516 Apr 9 2012 0001X02003606X16008
456 Apr 9 2012 0001X0200350AX35123
514 Apr 9 2012 0001X02003509X96129 and so on....

So, if we look at the files in /sapmnt/<SID>/global/<clint>JOBLG, how do we know which ones are wanted and which ones are unwanted? For those files that are unwanted, what dates delimit the range in which unwanted files are to be deleted?

I know the unwanted files. I want to delet all files for the year 2012.

replace echo by rm once u confrimed that the result set is correct to delete
