Delete .txt file from current directory

I have created few text file during run time by redirecting the txt file

Code:
echo USER_LIST_"$(date '+%d%h%Y')".csv > report_location.txt

report_location.txt is creating in the same location where I run script

Code:
home/script

When I try to remove the txt file at the end of the script, it is not removed.

Code:
rm report_location.txt

getting the below error.

Code:
+ rm report_location.txt
report_location.txt: No such file or directory

you can try like this :-
suspend execution of script for few seconds before removing file .

sleep 2
rm report_location.txt

Try removing with the below command. Give the Absolute path of the txt file (/home/script). This command will remove the file even if you have changed the directory during the script execution
Code:
find /home/script -name "report_location.txt" -exec rm {} \;

You could try it with this too:
Code:
REPORT=/home/script/report_location.txt
#OR: REPORT=$(dirname $0)/report_location.txt

echo USER_LIST_"$(date '+%d%h%Y')".csv > "$REPORT"
echo "Some actions..."
rm "$REPORT"
