Cannot stat ‘/albiero’: No such file or directory

So on my external hard drive, I am trying to copy one folder into another folder
Code:
sudo cp /albiero /home

and get the error message
Code:
cannot stat ‘/albiero': No such file or directory

Though both folders exist
Code:
drwxr-xr-x 44 root root 4096 Oct 31 15:15 albiero
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Oct 31 16:08 home

I'm running Ubuntu 13.04.

I wasn't supposed to have backslashes. Never mind. Solved.

Solved? Are you sure?

You can copy one directory into another only with this?:
Code:
cp albiero home

Ubuntu's cp command must be different from any other cp command I've used!

Even when we don't respond, we come to the rescue.
