Hadoop HUE - Error
Hi ,

I have installed Cloudera Hadoop successfully however when i am launching the web page for HUE , I am receiving below error message.

Configuration files located in /var/run/cloudera-scm-agent/process/65-hue-HUE_SERVER

Potential misconfiguration detected. Fix and restart Hue.

desktop.ldap.ldap_url Current value: None
LDAP is only partially configured. An LDAP URL must be provided.

Hi Neo,

Thank you for your response.

I am new to LDAP and HUE as well , can you let me know what file should i need to edit to give entries for LDAP and what would it be like .

I think if you Google for LDAP and HUE you will find your answer.

Ya Neo , I did try that i tried to edit the file hue.ini but was not able to resolve the issue . I am guessing that there is another file where i need to add the LDAP entry or to disable it . Which i am unable to find it.

I was able to resolve the issue by passing parameters in the LDAP URL under hue ,configuration files under section security and then restarted the services
