Display Accessing mail server from UNIX
Hi all,

I need to access the mails sent to me in a mail server(IMAP mail server), and download the attachment sent in the mail to the unix environment.
Please help me to acheive the same.
I am not able to install python , PHP modules in my unix box due to installation restriction in my work space.

Did you consider the fetchmail package?

I am not aware of fetchmail package , could you pls provide me the installation process and conversion process if any ?.

You did not specify what your system is.
fetchmail usually is available in all linux distros, also for FreeBSD, but you can also search the web.
Please be aware that fetchmail is not unanimously welcomed by the web community.
