I'm also not giving you "arbitrary bits of information", I'm giving you exactly what the console gave me.
Actually, i don't. I prefer to keep my opinion about you undisclosed, but nevertheless think this deserves a longer answer to clear out any misunderstandings.

Well, above you have that specified as "Debian Wheezy". As per the documentation of the Debian project "Wheezy" was the development codename for Debian 7 and it is shipped with kernel version 3.2.
That means, even if you have started with a Debian system you definitely do not run the Debian kernel any more now, which is what i said above. If a system with a radically different kernel still can be called "Debian" is up to discussion. I didn't dispute that you run whatever system, i just said you run a OpenVZ kernel. A five-year-old (even one not able to read) might well compare the letters for M-A-C-H-I-N-E and K-E-R-N-E-L and conclude that they are different.

It took me a while to get hold of a Debian system, but a sample output of uname -a looks like this in older Debian versions:

and in newer versions:

So either your output is as you said, then you definitely run something which doesn't behave like a Debian system should or you have altered (clipped) the output of uname -a and did exactly what i called it: posted arbitrary bits of information instead of the unaltered output from the command i asked you for.
When i asked you for the output of uname -a i hoped to get the architecture (like "x86_64" or "i386" or whatever) and with - with some luck - the build date of the kernel, like in the first sample output. This is why i asked for "the output of 'uname -a'" instead of "the kernel version".

Does the (kernel-headers) rpm required for recompiling the Linux 2.6.11.6 kernel?
Knowing that the base OS is RedHat 9 with kernel 2.4.20-8.
(rpm -q kernel-headers) shows that it is not installed however (kernel-source) rpm is installed.
