Question Dns

I just bought a unix dedicated server from a company so that i can host websites on that server. I wanted to configure it but I have no clue Smilie as to where to start. If some one can just guide me to the right direction, i would greatly appreciate it.

What is the OS and version that is loaded (or you are going to load)? What type of server is it (hardware info)?

What type of web server are you trying to use? What software and version?

You set the subject of this thread as DNS - are you looking for assistance on that also?
