Putty and winscp - what is the difference?

Want to understand the difference between putty and winscp.

Basically,they are both free and widely used clients for SSH and SCP respectively i.e putty for ssh and winscp for scp

--WinSCP is for file transfer to and from your server ,WinSCP is a file transfer application using Secure FTP

--while PuTTY is used to interact with the server directly. Putty is just a command line interface to your server. .
