as for the problem box, i've managed to get into the software after contacting the seller. the password was nothing! (darn those fellas) i can get into the system now & check out the contents of the hard drive.
one thing that bugs me though, is that do i have to do the "stop-a" everytime i boot the computer? now that i can get into the system, is there anyway where i can change the configuration and make the system to boot up normally without any human intervention?
as for upgrading the OS. i'm afraid i can't. it's because i do not have the tester software inside. i'm worried that if i try to install a new OS inside, i might wipe out the tester software as well. conundrum
