Question Mount Problems
Hi all, fairly new to the unix world so go easy...

Basically this is my problem.
I am trying to mount a filesystem which is shared out on ServerC on to ServerB.
These machines are both in the same NIS domain. C is the newer server.

Server C is a solaris 10 machine
Server B is running soalris 2.6

Now serverC has automounts on it already from serverB but when trying to mount a shared directory from the ServerC to B it keeps giving me permission denied.

The command I am using is: -
mount -F nfs -o rw=group1 serverC:/share /share

Help...... Smilie

Mount issues
Hi Monkey,

Does the userid you're using have the correct permissions on the directory/share that you need to mount?

We are experiencing several startup problems at boot time. In our /etc/rc.d/boot script we have "swapon -a -v &> /dev/null/' (without the quotes).
