Not sure what I am doing wrong here, but I can print the list with no issue. Just a blank screen with the 'do'.

I am using FTP in a script. But when i exit from the FTP session, the commands written after EOF don't get executed.
i.e.
ftp <<EOF
quote $login
quote $password
