converting txt files in linux to windows
HI..

i have this problem..i want to copy a text file from linux and import it into an access file..but so many junk characters are coming in between..what i have to do..

plz help..

I assume this is a re-post of your previous post. Which, by the way is bump-ing up your question and is not allowed.

It seems you dont have unix2dos on your machine.

Download the rpm from this url
http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat....i386.rpm.html

and install it. Try using it then.

Can you post the contents of your .txt file. Especially the junk characters that appear.

I have downloaded the rpm..what i have to do next to install it? i have downloaded it in the windows m/c.. please tell me how to install it in the linux m/c..plz give the procedure to do..i don't have much idea about this..

its urgent..plz help..
