JUST ICE,
Thank you for your reply, my question was if I could do a CD and egrep those files at the same time, like in the previous query it does a CD at the same time.
What do you think I can add or change on this query to do it at the same time:
egrep -i -n error cl_less.out more.out test.out
# 9

(cd /path/to/test; egrep -i -n error cl_less.out more.out test.out)
