Unix Newbee :-)

Hi ,
i have jus started learning basics of unix .I have few queries :

1) what is meant by unix box server?
2) what is the difference between unix and linux (is it jus x-windows graphical system or is there anything more than that?)
3) Can i get any free download of unix so that i cud practise the commands from windows evironment?

Read the FAQs, all your questions are answered there, except maybe the question about what a box is, which is just what we commonly call the machine on which we are running the OS.

i wud like to know if any free unix servers are installed on internet.......where i can telnet and practise few basic unix commands.......is there any available?

Okee problems...!!
