Share CD-Writer

Hi, guys !
I have a server that runs FreeBSD 5.3 and on that server a have a CD-Writer used for backup. The question is, does anybody know how can I share this CD-Writer ? I want to be able to write CDs from another computer, without transfering all the data to the server and after that use all the command line programs...

What OS is the computer running that you want to share to?

If it's another UNIX box, then it MAY work just like tape drives where you can ufsdump to a remote tape drive (see man page for ufsdump for syntax). Just remember, that is a BIG may.

Well... the computer that I use have two operating systems: Windows2003 and FreeBSD 5.3-RELEASE. The server is running (starting from today) FreeBSD 5.4-RELEASE. I'll try ufsdump, but if you have any other ideea, please post it here ;-)
