Cron Daemon and alert

Cron Daemon and alert
I am not system admin on Unix or Linux server. I am Oracle DBA to work on these operating systems. On our Oracle Linux 5.8 box, it always pump up the alert message like this:

Cron Daemon [root@hostname.domain.com]
/bin/sh: /opt/oracle/product/middleware/agent11g/ccr/bin/emCCR: No such file or directory

Please help me to understand what is Cron Daemon and how about this alert message. How can I fix this? I have searched Cron Daemon online and didn't get enough information on it. Thanks.

Cron daemon is your job scheduler...
You can see what you have submitted by typing:
Code:
 crontab -l

The message is quite clear : It cannot find or execute a command/program...
