total windows cripple wanna learn unix well

hello, I finally installed a unix port (NetBSD) on my workpad z50 and now I'm trying to configure it and well right about now I know 2 commands and I can start one program Vi is the program and I can navagate with cd and ls those are the two commands wait I know 3 date I also know but I can't even figure out how to change the date and time. Smilie
Help I reading all these webpages and quite frankly right now I can't even seem to get any real tutorials, all of them just teach me how to do unix on one or the other college system, and that's just the basics I am figuring out slowly. but really no comprehensive lists on how to do things. I wish I could find a web page that teaches all this stuff step by step?

ehhh problem with there mailing lists I need to use sendmail in order to send a confirmation I dun know how to even use that program yet Smilie
