What is the defined file size limit in /etc/security/limits? The default is 'fsize = 2097151'. Are you running ulimit with -a to see ALL the resource limitations?

Cheers,

Keith

I have the same problem here on AIX, cannot write file greater than 2GB, it get aborted after writing 1.999GB. I have set fsize to -1 and fsize_hard to -1 as the documentation says -1 implies unlimited. Problem still persists. What can be done to solve this problem? Pls help out!!!
