Network kinda big problem

Hi again!
I finally managed to image the 3 floppies for installing freeBSD but I simply can't boot! I've selected floppy for first boot device and it even starts to readf the boot floppy and the hard drive light is continuously flashing but it doesn't stop even after half an hour and doesn't do a thing... and i think that's quite a problem. If you have any ideas on why this happens please help!
Many thanks:
Mudrack

Hi !
Why don't you try with an bootable CD ? Floppy disks always generate errors... by the way, is it simply stops ? Or it says something before that (like an error or warning) ?

Hi !
Well... all FreeBSD releases come in .iso format also and all of them are bootable after you write the CD Smilie
You can download any distribution from FreeBSD ftp site (ftp.freebsd.org) or from mirrors. In case that you want to copy 5.3-RELEASE, for example, you can find the .iso files in "/pub/FreeBSD/releases/i386/ISO-IMAGES/5.3"
Good luck !
Bye !
