Delete space
How to delete leading space of column 3?

DEC     30                 start test
JAN     20      this is a test
APR     10            hello test

Must have:

Try this. The shell should eat the extra spaces:
Code:
while read A B C
do
        printf "%s\t%s\t%s\n" "$A" "$B" "$C"
done < file > newfile
