Sendmail Duplicates

Hi! I'm runnig on mac Osx 10.2x, I configured sendmail using sendmail enabler and then configured the account in mail.app...I then sent myself 3 e-mails from the E-mail provided by my ISP. Thing is, every time I check for mail those 3 mails re-appear, I have to delete them every time, to no success of getting rid of them!!! Please help me out!
