How come after I have a .netrc file on my home directory. My modified script code doesn't work anymore?
.netrc file:

machine server1
login user1
password pasword1
============

My modified script file:
==================
#! /bin/sh
cd /usr1
ftp server1<<EOF
cd usr2
put 02282005.log
EOF
===================


I just took user name and password away from my script file.
The log file can't be uploaded to the drive any more.
