SSH Cron Job Help

Hi there,

I have an ESXi server and I need to shut it down every night (say at 11 for simplicity). To shut down the ESXi box remotely, I can send an SSH command "poweroff".
Basically my question is, is there any way that I can save the script on my DD-WRT router so that it will login to the ESXi box and run the "poweroff" command? And on top of that, schedule a cron job on the router to run the script every night?
Sorry, I'm an absolute beginner with all things non-Windows so please excuse my illiteracy in all things linux!

Thanks,
George

Does your DD-WRT router support SSH command and cronjob setup?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I believe it supports both.

Cheers.

I've sorted it. It was much easier just to do a cron job on the ESXi box itself.

Code:
30 21 * * * /sbin/poweroff
