To find the OS i used "uname -a" and i got as Windows_NT #means you are in windows Operation System ? -- if yes, the use any windows software package to extract the files.

oh ok fine. so using software package like "WinRar" is the only option for this?

If you are in windows operating system, then as suggested use winrar,"extractnow", 7zip
