What does   do ??

I have read this in a question but have never come accross it.

Inserts a non-breaking space into a rendered HTML page. HTML's default behaviour is to replace several spaces with a single space where they appear next to each other - you can override this behaviour by using several   entities in a line... although you're far better off using CSS for positioning and layout.

You should take a look at this to learn more about HTML entities.

The entire www.w3schools.com site is an excellent resource for HTML/XHTML/CSS et al...

But you can't use CSS in a post. &#nbsp; used to work in a post. The fact that it doesn't still work is the first real problem that I've seen with the site upgrade.   still works though.
So **** I **** can **** do **** this.

But they disappear on preview. Smilie Maybe this post will work....

Is a tags generally names: white space
