File Name as first column in the file

Hi ,

I have a .csv files in a folder, for all these files I am trying to add one column in the beginning that is the file name.

right now i have do it manually using the awk command
Code:
awk -f, '{print filename , $0} infile'

the above commands works file but in the header column also it is prininting the file name.

can any body give me some idea on how

1) to add the file name as first column
2) and the header should show the column name as file_name

Thanks,
Mora

Probably want a capital -F there, and the OFS too.

Code:
awk -F, 'NR==1{print "file_name",$0;next}{print FILENAME , $0}' OFS=, infile
