Vertas netbackup for Unix
Hello experts,
I will be joining a company in a few days time which put me in veritas netbackup project.
Can anyone please let me know how much knowledge of unix is needed for veritas netbackup?They will be providing training on netbackup.So i want to learn unix till then to make my base strong.
Can you please advise what all do i need to learn in unix?

Hi,
we can't tell you how much knowledge you'll need for your project.
Backup solutions are usually there to protect business data. So most likely it will be more relevant for you to learn how the application managing that data interacts with netbackup.
But it all depends on your project and your position within that project.
