What are the BEST Repository for Unix?

Well, which exact OS, and binary or sourcecode? Sourceforge is the start for a lot of source! For hpux binaries, I use Porting And Archive Centre For HP-UX. For binaries, you want a very trusted source if you can find one. Compiling your own has challenges, but you then have the ability to tweak and contribute if you have a special need, an choose the kind of optimization you want.

Looking at your list, I assume you are looking for Solaris packages. Is this correct?

Good point, pkg is binary, Solaris: Oracle, then Sunfreeware - Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) for Sun Microsystem's Solaris

Does good mean many, most popular packages or high trust?
