FTP Getting a Folder

I am a total noob assume i know nothing I have dabbed in it a little in the past but that was so long ago i have forgotten it all.

Back story: (short version)
Rented a web server from xenon servers. Need it to Grab some files from another server from xenon (minecraft server) (images of the map) Any way iv been stuffing around with google for hours on end and cant work any thing out. Smilie

Some Info:

Web Server:
I access it via cpanel has a whole bunch of perl modules already installed when i got it can list them if needed.

Minecraft server: Not sure what the go with it it could be windows or any thing i may need to contact the host and find out what it is.

What i have tried:

Well to start with i was cutting the webserver out of the equation and just trying to make a windows ftp.exe file to get the files from the minecraft server i was able to connect to it but not cd my way around the files still cant for the life of me work out why.

Now i realize the web server is not windows and that whole line of thought was a waste of time. I have never made a cron job or any thing like that so most of the topics on the subject around here were over my head already.

What should i do to copy the files from the minecraft server to the web server I need to only copy files that have changed since the last time it was used really (this needs to be running like every minute so less is more).

Im only just fumbling my way around the cpan So nice clear instructions will help.

Methinks that this is too vague for this board.
Suggest you approach the supplier and ask them what you have rented, what their central server is, and for detailed instructions about downloading the requisite files.

Firstly Please stop talking about your self in the third person its is annoying.

secondly I don't know what you guys need to know to help me if i knew i would of got the info. talking to support it like talking to a brick wall the time it takes for them to answer is slow thats why i posted here before asking them prefer to not wait for them if i can help it.

I can't see much unix in your problem. It seems to be about using cPanel :
cPanel Inc.

Maybe the guys on this board can help?
Web hosting

Ps. Please don't try to teach me grammar and I won't try to teach you punctuation.

Well xenon Support has already flat out refused to Even consider helping me with this so why would their very inactive forum do me any good?

The seem to know very little about their own servers besides spec's And what other people have told them.... (common problems ect any thing more that that is out of reach)
