Calling Bourne .sh Script with Windows VBScript
Is it possible to call and execute a Bourne .sh script from within a Windows VBScript? When the shell script sucessfully completes the VBScript continues to the next step.

Is the shell script local or remote? Is it to be executed local or remote? If you want local execution, is an interpreter executable, and all the tools called in the script, available? If you want remote execution, is there an SSH server running on the remote side?

The VBScript runs on a windows server, the shell script runs on the UNIX box where the Oracle database resides. (The UNIX shell script runs GPG to decrypt files. PGP is not available on Windows.) Currently the shell script is run by loggin on to UNIX, when complete, the VBScript is run by loggin on to the Windows server. I would like to be able to schedule the VBScript using Windows and have it run the UNIX shell script as part of the process.
