UNIX for Dummies Questions & Answers

Dear Unix user,
I'm using putty 0.60 (on Windows Vista) to connect by ssh protocol to other Linux computer.
I have a problem with VI/VIM. When I key button "n" or "b", it returns me n^Z or b^Z.

What could the problem be?!

Unfortunately, it returns me this error:

stty: invalid integer argument `b^'
stty: invalid integer argument `n^'

Please post the output from:

And if you have a ".exrc" file (which maps keys for "vi") in your home directory.

Right, it's not the ususal.

I'll have to leave this thread to someone who knows the correct setup for your software.

I think that the problem is putty on vista.When i use putty from other windows pc (for example xp) I have not problem!
