If you are FTP'ing between servers that belong to your company and have permissions, then one easy way to analyze is to simply use a sniffer.

However, I also question your post, as it does not make complete sense. If the FTP script is working, simply wait for the admin of the other server.

I'm not comfortable with this thread and it sounds like a potential hacking violation of our rules. We are not here, as others say, to help you hack passwords of servers.

The problem was that the developer who was terminated was the admin of the machine spawning the FTP sessions. These FTP sessions have to take place for our customers' systems to receive updates, so I couldn't interrupt that service.

Since the developer/admin was terminated, I needed to change the password in order to elminate his access completely.

Understood. I didn't know about the rule, but I'm glad it exists. Smilie

I did finally get the situation resolved, just not as quickly as I had hoped.
