how to send an xml request
I'm new to Unix and web development but I'm in need to send an xml request to a web server Ican't find an easy way to do it from the command line, if somebody can help me with a sample would be amazing! my Unix says that curl is not installed so i was wondering if there is another way to test it,I'm sure once I ca do it manually I could understand how it works an program it. the main issue to me is the format of the request I.
AHOPE SOMEBODY CAN HELP me

Never tried this myself but this XML.com: Telnet and REST Web Services shows how to use telnet to interact with web services using REST.
