no route to host
I not able to ping outside the internet. i am able to ping my 192. ip address. when i try to ping a 68. ip address i get no route to host. what should i do to correct this issue. I have sco openserver 5.05

try using the command (might differ with OpenServer),
route add default gateway 192.0.0.1

with 192.0.0.1 being the ip of your gateway.
Be sure to also set up your nameserver if not already.

Looks like you need to set up a default gateway.

Something like

route add default gw 192.168.0.1

should do the trick. Obviously change the IP to your internet gateway

on some boxes you must add it to your /etc/hosts file.

gateway 192.0.0.1

I remember on an old DEC alpha 2100 box I had to do this...

192 is usually an internal IP address. So you probably aren't connected to the internet directly. You need a resolv.conf file with a DNS entry in it. Then you need to be able to ping the DNS servers - probably through the gateway/default route described above.

QNX host cannot ping SCO host, vice versa
