My OS is win7, but the cPanel is installed on my hosting account so I take it it's linux ?

I got it working in the end with the following command:

Code:
wget http://somesite.com/IMAGE.JPG -P /home/user/public_html/yyy/y/

Is there a way to change the names of IMAGE.JPG.1 to something like IMAGE.001.JPG?

Not have an old one in the way (rename it or remove it) might prevent it. In linux, the rename is move, spelled mv and the delete is spelled rm.

Ok thanks a lot for your help guys, but I didn't use cron entirely for my little project.

I ended up with php code which is executed thanks to cron every minute. Now, is it possible to run cron jobs between certain times?

Because it's a cctv kind of webcamera pictures refreshed every minute, when it's dark there is no point of running this script, so I was just wondering if I could run cron jobs say between 6am and 10pm.

How can I set it up as I can't get it right Smilie
