yes it is solaris...tried fuser but it returns to nothing
root@hostname # fuser -u /var
/var:
I wanted actually to check the file which causing my filesystem to be full..this is the current utilization now
/dev/md/dsk/d3 15G 15G 0K 100% /var
swap 4.5M 40K 4.5M 1% /var/run
swap 1.9G 1.9G 4.5M 100% /tmp
I find it hard to check the /var directory and locate the files that's causing it to be full.. pls advise

i cannot even do prstat
prstat: realloc() failed, attempt 1: Resource temporarily unavailable
prstat: realloc() failed, attempt 2: Resource temporarily unavailable
prstat: realloc() failed, attempt 3: Resource temporarily unavailable
prstat: not enough memory: Resource temporarily unavailable
I need to know the process that's taking up too much resources on my machin based on above partition
