When I was on a slow modem and RAS server some decades back, the fancy keys were not reliable, as the character pair they mapped to would get separated, arrive in different packets, and seem to be 2 keys. Luckily, h j k l ^D ^U i a do the same. Smilie

Thank you for the replys. I learned much!
Currently I can only work with vi and none else (part of a test we are doing)
But we need a autocompletion and coloring which only vim has and vi doesn't
So if any one can help me with that it would be awesome!
